SQL语句主要可以分为DDL、DML、DCL几大类。

DML(Data Manipulation Language)语句:数据操纵语句,用于添加、删除、更新和查询数据库记录,并检查数据完整性,常用的语句关键字主要包括 insert、delete、update 和select等。

简单的查询

SELECT CONCAT(last_name,', ',first_name) AS full_name
  FROM mytable ORDER BY full_name;

join

SELECT * FROM t1 LEFT JOIN (t2, t3, t4)
                 ON (t2.a = t1.a AND t3.b = t1.b AND t4.c = t1.c)

上述语句与下述语句等价。

SELECT * FROM t1 LEFT JOIN (t2 CROSS JOIN t3 CROSS JOIN t4)
                 ON (t2.a = t1.a AND t3.b = t1.b AND t4.c = t1.c)

对于MySQL,JOIN、CROSS JOIN、INNER JOIN在语法上是等价的。在标准SQL语法中,他们却不是等价的,这点尤其要注意。

union

mysql> SELECT 1, 2;

合并结果集,然后排序或者limit都可以。

(SELECT a FROM t1 WHERE a=10 AND B=1)
UNION
(SELECT a FROM t2 WHERE a=11 AND B=2)
ORDER BY a LIMIT 10;

子查询

SELECT * FROM t1
  WHERE column1 = (SELECT MAX(column2) FROM t2);
SELECT s1 FROM t1 WHERE s1 = ANY (SELECT s1 FROM t2);
SELECT s1 FROM t1 WHERE s1 IN    (SELECT s1 FROM t2);
SELECT column1 FROM t1 WHERE EXISTS (SELECT * FROM t2);

查看数据库的大小分布
